On Feb. 6, the Student Executive Council (SEC) held a second Club Day on the quad with newly chartered second semester clubs.
Of the 99 registered clubs, 29 clubs participated in Club Day II. “It seemed more organized and less hectic than last semester,” sophomore Eliza Vandereyken said. “There were much more charity and community service clubs.”
Clubs that participated in Club Day handed out candy, presented features of their clubs with club products and displayed banners and signs to attract members. “We had people dressed up in costumes,” senior Japanese Culture Club President Elysée Wilson-Egolf said. "I was wearing a kimono while another person was dressed up as a character from anime.”
For the students who missed Club Day, information regarding meeting times, locations, club presidents and club advisors may be found online at http://gunn.pausd.org/~activities/sac/ClubList.htm.
