On Oct. 31, the Link Crew hosted a freshmen Halloween party after school in the Student Activity Center. Approximately 55 freshman students attended the party. The party was free, and included games such as bobbing for apples, a “spider-toss”, and candy jar guessing.
“The party was meant as a bonding experience for freshmen,” Link Crew member and junior Taylor McAdam said. Students seemed to be enjoying themselves. “It looked like a lot of people there had a good time,” senior Link Crew member Irina Chirkina said. “I think it was an overall good experience.”
This year, Link Crew will host events throughout the year for the freshman class. “We plan on doing a lot more than usual for the freshman class. “We think it will better their high school experience overall,” Chirkina said.
