Tofu House specializes in Korean barbeque beef and spicy tofu soups. Preceding each main course are at least four or five small appetizers that tide you over until your meal arrives. The menu is fairly limited, but the dishes available are adequate. Take care though—some of the soups might be too spicy for those who are not used to hot foods. Tofu House is fairly cheap; prices for entrées are about $10. This restaurant is a good place to go if you have a large group of people.

Looking for something different? Gyros Gyros blends Greek and Mediterranean foods and serves up chicken, lamb, beef gyros and salads. It has an ideal location on University Avenue. The food is served in satisfying portions and is delicious. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. The restaurant is suited for family dining rather than formal occasions. Service is fairly quick, but seating is often limited. The quality of the food, however, makes the wait worthwhile.

With its rustic décor, this Italian restaurant provides a warm and quiet ambiance for dining. Despite the restaurant’s limited menu, the selection of food is tasty, with homemade pasta and specialties like calamari steak. However, it is quite pricey—most entrées cost at least $15. This is not a good restaurant to take younger children to because it is mostly directed towards teens and adults. Bella Luna is a great place to eat if you are looking for a calm Thanksgiving evening.
