Summertime Melon Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 small honeydew melons (seeded and chopped)
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • ice cube (bunch of them)

Put all ingredients into a blender and mix. Blend for less time for a thicker, fruitier smoothie. For a smoother consistency, blend for more time at a higher speed. If the smoothie is too thick, add some cold water and give it a blend. Garnish the glass by slicing half way through a chunk or thick slice of melon, and stick on glass rim.

Banana Berry Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup apple juice
  • 3/4 cup strawberry juice (I just use Kern’s nectar.)
  • 2/3 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 medium banana, sliced
  • 1/3 cup raspberry sherbet
  • 1/3 cup vanilla yogurt (nonfat for me)
  • 1 cup ice

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed until all the ice is crushed and the drink is smooth. Share if you want. For a tasty variation, add about a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
