  • The Latte Guy will be at Gunn today!  Please come to the Staff Lounge between 7:45 and 11:00 to enjoy lattes and good food!
  • If you'd like to be part of a focus group for the Paths from Palo Alto website, join us in the Wellness Center meeting space this Thursday during Tutorial. Check out the website at www.pathsfrompaloalto.com, or email kblackburn@pausd.org by Wednesday if you want to participate.
  • You ought to be in pictures, and some of you are -- your school photos have arrived, so please pick them up in the SAC, Room K-6!
  • "Bike Palo Alto" is a green, citywide event on October 2, 1-4pm and a way to explore quiet bicycle routes throughout Palo Alto. Riders start from El Carmelo School and can choose one of three routes. Volunteers are needed at El Carmelo School to sign up riders from 12:30-2:30. Please email joan_marx@arczip.com to help out! Riders can pre-register at bikepaloalto.org.

  • The Barron Park Association is looking for student volunteers to canvas the Barron Park neighborhood for a Bol Park survey. If you can help for 2-4 hours, email bridget.bouy@gmail.com

    • Take time to ask your student about what they did in their session

    • Encourage your student to ask their TitanConnect coach for support when they need it, or any other questions

    • Encourage your student to speak up for what they want and need from the TitanConnect space

TitanConnect is a program at Gunn High School intended to provide our 9th grade students a safe and fun place to learn about the many ways to be a productive Titan in our school community, and a space to reflect on their emotions.

Identifying the emotions that one is feeling allows for the individual to know which resources or help they may need to access to feel emotionally healthy.  TitanConnect intends to set up a space for students’ needs and voices to drive the time together.
