“Get Experience with the Test—
Biggest Mock S.A.T.
The next Mock S.A.T. will be available to both Gunn and Paly students!
Why Take the Mock S.A.T.?
College-seeking students who are required to take the S.A.T. are strongly encouraged to take the Mock S.A.T., at least twice. The Mock S.A.T. is a full-length practice test that prepares students for the actual S.A.T. and can identify areas of strong performance along with areas for future improvement. Many students purchase S.A.T. study guides and take the tests provided in them for practice. While they may be a good way to review subject-matter content and improve test-taking strategies, there’s no better way to prepare for the S.A.T. then to actually take practice tests under testing conditions. The Mock S.A.T. tests will provide students with multiple opportunities to take the test under similar testing conditions as the S.A.T. while hopefully helping students gain the confidence and endurance required to score successfully on the S.A.T.
Testing Dates
The Academic Center has partnered with Kaplan Test Prep, Revolution Prep, and Princeton Review to bring the Mock S.A.T. to the students at Gunn High School. There are six scheduled Mock S.A.T. tests scheduled this year, and the dates are listed below. All tests will be held at Gunn High School and students should arrive and check-in by 8:30 A.M.
