About The Library
Welcome to the Gunn High School Library!

The library welcomes students and staff for research, quiet study, work on school projects and leisure reading. Located at the front of campus, right off Arastradero, it houses approximately 17,000 books and a growing collection of DVD's and audio books. Thanks to a generous grant from Palo Alto Partners in Education, we now offer a sizeable collection of very popular graphic novels.
Our online catalog will guide you to all of these materials, but be sure to check the new books shelves and display racks. Most items held by another school in the district may be ordered through interlibrary loan. We subscribe to about 35 magazines and several newspapers and provide access to many more via ProQuest Platinum and the Palo Alto City Library online resources. Passwords are required for all subscription databases. PAUSD database passwords are posted on your InClass account. (Under "Courses in which you are enrolled," click on "Gunn High School Information" and "Library Passwords" on the next screen.) PACL databases require you to enter your library card barcode number.
