EBSCOhost : A new reference database replacing ProQuest! EBSCO offers a wide range of national and international periodicals through its MAS Ultra Collection; it contains a wide assortment of material; magazines, reference books, images, maps and other primary source documents.
Also available through EBSCO is ERIC, a health information database and a professional resource collection for educators.

Using EBSCOhost to search for information
- Student Research Center: an easy graphic interface to search for information from magazines, newspapers, primary source documents. Biographies (digital books collection) are particularly good
- EBSCO Research Databases: Searches various EBSCO databases and combines results. Searches the Student Research, ERIC and professional resources. Searching can be done together or individually. To search individual databases, select choose Databases link above the search box.
- Points of View: Use the database to research controversial issues. A perfect way to gather information for current events and issues, great for debate or persuasive essays.
