How to submit to Pandora's Box
Everybody at Gunn high school is encouraged to submit to Pandora’s Box. Send in poems, short stories, essays, drawings, paintings, photographs, and other creative work in scanned or typed digital format to pbox.009@gmail.com. If you feel the need to give a hard copy of your work, you can use our drop-off boxes in L-31 (the English office) and the SAC.
Club members will review pieces anonymously before deciding which to publish in the next issue.
Please provide your name, grade, email, and phone number. No anonymous submissions, please, but you can specify if you’d like your piece printed anonymously.
Maximum word count for written pieces is 2000. Maximum written submissions by one author that will be accepted for one issue is three.
Visual artwork may be submitted in either black and white or color, but please note that we may print in black and white. Maximum visual art submissions per artist per issue is five.
Submissions are rolling—if rejected for the upcoming issue, they are automatically resubmitted to the next one, unless requested otherwise.
Listen for deadlines on the announcements, or check the calendar on this site.
