Q: How can I reach department members?

To email teachers, go to the Teacher Webpage at and click on their name at the bottom of the page. Or as an alternative, use the first letter of the teachers' first name followed by their last name @pausd.org. (eg. to email Steve Ames use sames@pausd.org).

Q: What happens if my child doesn't have their PE clothes on a day when she/he needs to suit up?

A: In most cases she/he will be docked points and not be able to participate. Check with the teacher for more information on grading.

Q: My child lost/destroyed their PE clothes, what should we do?

A: Contact your child's PE teacher and purchase a new set.

Q: What happens to my child if they are playing a Gunn after school sport?

A: After a student has completed one semester of PE at Gunn, the child may apply for a PE Waiver (discretion of teacher) during their scheduled PE time.

Q: Can my child get a PE Waiver if they are not on a Gunn sports team?

A: No, only students participating on Gunn After School Sports teams are eligible.
