The World Languages Department at Gunn offers students the possibility of studying 5 world languages.

All students keep oral and written portfolios showing their growth in language proficiency. The department emphasizes comunicative language instruction infused with culturally authentic materials. The department also encourages  students to participate in language clubs, trips, and foreign exchange opportunities.
