 College & Career Center

Located in the portable next to the Front Office, the College and Career Center (CCC) is designed to act as a resource for Gunn students who are making their post-high school plans. Resources include: college reference books, course catalogs, SAT/ACT/AP test preparation materials, information from various colleges (brochures and viewbooks), career and vocational training resources, and scholarship information. Cal Grant (GPA Verification)

The California Student Aid Commission uses the information provided on the FAFSA and your GPA thru 7 semester to determine if students qualify for Cal Grant. The Cal Grant information is available on the web at To be considered for Cal Grants (California State Aid), each student must confirm their email address in Family Connection with Naviance is the same as the one they will or have used with their FAFSA. If your email is different please send me your new email address to All seniors GPA verification will be submitting electronic by Gunn HS College and Career Center on September 27, 2017.


A scholarship listing is compiled and updated weekly to assist students and their parents who are looking for scholarships. Be sure to check your Family Connection account with Naviance under the “college” tab for local and school scholarships. There are also many need- and merit- based scholarships listed in Family Connection.
