The Student Activities Office will be Open During Finals from 10:30am - 2:30pm on Monday, and 10am - 2pm Tuesday through Thursday.  Please plan accordingly for your end of year purchases!

 

Pre-Ordered Yearbook Pick Up: Missed picking up your yearbook?  Yearbook distribution will be happening through the Student Activities Center until the end of the school year.  NOTE - the yearbook is SOLD OUT for this year - make sure you don’t miss out next school year by purchasing in advance for 26-27!

 

A message from the PE Department:  Locker Clear Out  All Athletes who have been issued a locker in the PE locker room to return their locks to the PE teachers and clear out all belongings no later than Wednesday, 6/3

 

Yoga on Monday during PRIME!  Do you need a brain break and some movement before your finals? Sign up for Monday PRIME in the Bow Gym Classroom with Ms. Ichikawa for yoga!

Senior Second Day Jerseys: Pre-sale now open!  Hey class of 2027!!! Congratulations, we’re almost done with the year!  Pre-orders for our second day Senior Jerseys are available NOW! We highly encourage placing your order ASAP, especially if you want to customize it with your LAST NAME on the back. Orders are placed through the online Titan Webstore. Hey Juniors - it is time to start scheduling your Senior Portrait sessions for the 26-27 school year!  Visit the Now & Forever Studio website to book your appointment at NF-Studios.com - book early and get it done over the summer!  All seniors need to be photographed by January 22, 2027 to meet the yearbook deadline.

Important Information About Graduation Events:

 

If you have not picked up your cap and gown, please visit the Main Office to pick up your package.

 

Cap Decorating for Graduation:  If you are planning to decorate your cap for graduation, all decorations must be school appropriate and cannot be 3D (flat designs only due to visibility issues at event).

 

Grad Images, Gunn’s official Graduation photographer, will be at Graduation to capture your images during the ceremony.  Don’t forget to Pre-Register at gradimages.com/preregistration prior to the event to share your photos with loved ones and to receive 20% off your photo order of $50 or more!

Graduation Rehearsal will be Wednesday, June 3rd at 2:00 PM, starting in Spangenberg Theater.  All Seniors need to be on time as the rehearsal will start promptly.  Students speaking at graduation and performing will need to stay after the rehearsal for a few minutes for sound check.  Again, the rehearsal is at 2:00 PM – please do not be late!

 

Graduation is Thursday, June 4th at 5:00 PM on the Football Athletic Field.  All graduating Seniors will meet in Spangenberg Theater no later than 4:30 PM for final instructions before the ceremony.  

  • Attire for graduates is dressy casual with cap, tassel and gown zipped up.  
  • Seniors need to be on time, as the start of the ceremony will not be held for late arrivals.  
  • NO BAGS will be allowed in Spangenberg or on the field - please leave bags in cars or with family members.  You may bring a water bottle and phone/camera.
  • Please - To ensure a positive experience for all attendees, we kindly ask that everyone refrain from bringing balloons, signs, banners, or flags to the ceremony. These items can obstruct the view of others and detract from the shared experience we want all families to enjoy. 
  • Also, out of respect for the graduates, speakers and families, do not bring airhorns or other noisemakers.  Thank you for helping us keep the focus on our graduates and maintaining a clear line of sight for every guest.
  • For those who cannot attend in person, the ceremony will be recorded and posted later - stay tuned for details.

 

Graduation Parking is VERY limited on campus, so plan accordingly - we encourage families to walk, bike, carpool or take an Uber, Lyft or Palo Alto Link. 

  • Parking for families with disabled or elderly members will be on the Miranda Street side of the school beginning approximately at 3:30pm, where there will be a shuttle to the field for those who need additional assistance
  • Families can continue to drop off family members who need shuttle assistance to the field once the lot is full.
  • Additional parking will be available at Fletcher Middle School

 

Diploma Distribution:  Diploma distribution will be immediately following graduation in front of the Studio Theater (next to the grass Amphitheater) - look for the signs.  All diplomas will need to be picked up by the graduate IN PERSON. 


Yearbook Distribution: Yearbook distribution for 2026 will happen in the Spangenberg courtyard, outside of P-115. 

  • Tuesday, May 26 from 4:10 to 4:40 p.m. -- Seniors only! 
  • Wednesday, May 27 from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. -- all grades
  • Thursday, May 28 from 4:10 to 4:40 p.m. -- all grades

Important Details for Picking Up your YearbooK:

  • You must bring a Photo ID to pick up your yearbook -- no exceptions. If you are not able to pick up your yearbook during our distribution time, you will be able to pick it up in the SAC starting Friday, May 29 at lunch and through the end of the school year. 
  • If you did not pre-order a yearbook, we will have some additional copies for sale, first come, first served, and they must be bought in person in the SAC for $125 ($112.50 with ASB), starting with senior distribution on May 26. Only seniors can purchase yearbooks in person on May 26. 
  • Not sure if you pre-ordered a yearbook? Check the list in the SAC or email yearbook adviser Kristy Blackburn at kblackburn@pausd.org.

  • Senior Paper Toss:  Gunn's longest tradition - the Paper Toss, will be at Brunch on the seniro quad on Friday!
  • Senior Sunset:  On 5/29 at the football field from 7:30-9pm, the class of 2026 will be having our senior sunset! We’ll be making letters for our future selves and food and drinks will be provided. Make sure to bring blankets, warm clothes, and yearbooks to sign!

The Gunn Symphony Orchestra invites all students to attend CIRCLE OF LIFE, a special performance during PRIME, Wednesday May 20. Even though everybody has a unique experience, there are certain aspects of life almost all of us will share. This concert program traces the different stages of life, from the playfulness of adolescence to the reflection and realizations that come in later years, through a mix of wide appealing music from orchestral classics, movies, and musicals. Sign up on Infinite Campus (Summers - Symphony Orchestra Concert Audience) to experience the wonders of music and life!

 

Spring Choir Concert, 5/21: Join the Gunn Concert Choir, Treble Choir, Chamber Singers and Chamber Ensemble for a fantastic evening of choral music celebrating the graduating class of 2026. This will also be Mr. Liberatore's last concert at Gunn before retiring after nearly 40 years! Graduating seniors will perform solos at 7pm and the main concert will begin at approximately 7:30pm. A reception with dessert and drinks will follow the concert. The event is free and open to all.

FRESHMEN!! The Freshman Scavenger Hunt is happening this coming Monday, May 18th, right after school. There will be 200 goodie bags with candy and small gifts around the Freshman Quad. Get hunting and see you there!

  • If you order before 5/15, your package will be delivered to school.  After 5/15, your package will be delivered directly to your home
