  • Cheer on the Titans as they play Paly tonight at Gunn! Wear your red Gunn gear and cheer loud and proud! Tickets are $3 students ($6 adults) and can be purchased at the gate or at ​GoFan.com. Screen shots will not be accepted for GoFan tickets. Gates open at 3:30pm with games starting at 4. Varsity game is at 7pm.

  • TEDxGunnHighSchool Conference Registration is now open here! Join us on February 6 for our full-day conference featuring 10 distinguished speakers of all walks of life to share Ideas Worth Spreading. Registration closes on Feb 1.  For more information check our website and instagram for event and speaker updates.

  • The Best Buddies club meets every Thursday in front of F-2 to play fun games and eat lunch with our friends in the special education program. This Thursday, stop by to bake and enjoy some pancakes with us! 

  • Gunn Athletics Spring sports start on January 30. All athletes that are interested in a Spring sport need to sign up in ​Athleticclearance.com​​​ and have a current athletic physical in order to practice. A schedule of start times will be posted next week.

  • Come to the Valentines Semi-formal Dance on February 16, 7-10pm in Bow Gym! It costs $10 with ASB/Lightning Pass and $15 with school ID. Pre-sales close after lunch on Feb. 16, with remaining tickets sold at the door for $15. If you are bringing a guest who does not attend Gunn, you must turn in a completed Guest Pass to be approved by a Gunn Administrator before buying your guest a ticket. Only ONE guest per student! All Guest Passes are due by February 13 at 4pm in the Main Office (no exceptions!). Guest Pass Forms are in the SAC or online. YOU MUST HAVE A STUDENT ID TO ENTER THE DANCE! Lost your ID?  Get a reprint for $5 in the SAC by Feb. 16 at 4:30pm or print out your Infinite Campus Photo and bring it Thursday night.

  • If you love chemistry as much as you love taking tests, you are encouraged to sign up to take the Chemistry Olympiad test. It is about 2 hours of multiple choice questions that will challenge even the top students and is offered March 27 in J8. Sign up by March 1 on this form.  (https://forms.gle/z6sTkBXkk135rRG79) Questions? Ask Dr. Mellows in J8 or talk to your science teacher.

  • URGENT:  The AC is currently recruiting a tutor for US History and "Comp Lit Vis Media" after school Wednesdays, and an Intro to Data Science tutor on Fridays.  If you have a 3rd-period prep and can tutor these subjects, that would be great.  Please apply to tutor in the Academic Center, Room D-2, ASAP.  

  • COVID tests and masks are available in the main office for Gunn students and staff.

  • The Gunn Academic Center is recruiting second-semester tutors now for all subjects, and while we always need math and science tutors, we also need English, Social Studies and World Language tutors. If you're a senior who spent first semester writing college applications, but might have some free time in your schedule now, we would love to have you apply.
