  • Gunn PEER TUTORS needed now! The Academic Center is currently recruiting Peer Tutors in exchange for community service hours.  If you're a Gunn student with 6th period free and can tutor Economics or AB Calculus please contact Pam Steward at ASAP.  If you're a Gunn student who can tutor Chemistry during any period please contact Pam Steward at ASAP.  

  • Youth Community Services (YCS) is an organization promoting meaningful service, learning and connection for students. Come learn more about them at their Open House Zoom today, 12-12:20 pm.   • For Week Three of National Hispanic Heritage Month we are focusing on Athletics: Of Puerto-Rican descent, Laurie Hernandez is the first Latina athlete to be a part of the United States Women's Olympic Gymnastics team since Tracee Talavera in 1984. She was the youngest woman on the national gymnastics team to compete in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. Hernandez helped her team win the gold medal and took a silver medal in the individual balance beam event.

  • The second round of the student check-in survey is available for parents and secondary students. The questions are the same as the first round released on August 28. The questions and topics will likely vary in future surveys to drill deeper into specific areas for targeted feedback. The survey can be accessed HERE.

  • Want to subscribe to The Oracle? This is the last week you can visit the web store and subscribe so that you receive our print issues at home. The subscription list will close on Oct. 5. Thanks for supporting student journalism!

  • Focus on Success is looking for math tutors once a week during 1st and 6th periods who can help with Precalc, IAC and AB Calc. We also need econ tutors during 6th period once a week. It's an easy and fun way to earn community service hours and help the Gunn community. If you're interested, but are already a TA, we can work something out with your teacher so that you're able to do both. Please email Mrs. Menache at  or Mrs. Owen at!
