Bus Sign Ups - Prom 2026:  Bus Sign Ups Link

  • Sign Ups now open and will close at 4:30pm on Tuesday, 4/14.  
  • Each person attending Prom must sign themselves up (including guests not from Gunn).  Anyone attending Prom who does not sign up will be assigned to a bus with space.  
  • If you are not on the purchased ticket list, you will be removed from the bus sign up.

LAST CHANGE!  On-Site Tuxedo Fittings by Tuxedos and More!   Tuxedos and More will be on campus this Tuesday, 4/13 from 12:20 - 3pm for fittings and to ask questions about rentals - come to room P-105 if interested!

  • Students should aim to reserve their tux at least a week prior to the event during on campus visits or at the store.
  • It’s is ok to be measured at school even if you are not sure of the tux style you would like to reserve. 
  • Students have the option to order, receive and return their rental on campus!

Eid Celebration:  Come join us in the Flex room THURSDAY APRIL 16th right after school to celebrate Eid! There will be fun games and great food: Mango lassi, sweets, kebabs, and more!! We hope to see you there!

Staff Appreciation - Share some Words of Thanks!  Mr. & Mrs Hall, in conjunction with SEC and PTSA, have created a form so that any school community member (parent, student, staff member) can offer some words of thanks and appreciation to any Gunn staff member.  All the responses will be checked and sorted and delivered to each staff member during Staff Appreciation Week (May 4-8).  https://tinyurl.com/GunnStaffThanks 

You can write a short or long response--it's up to you. You can also fill out the form as often as you like, for as many staff as you want to acknowledge. It would be great if we received responses for all the 213 or so staff members at Gunn--that's our goal. Thank you for taking the time to give the Gunn staff some love and respect. This form will be open until Friday, May 1st, 2025 at 5PM. Please spread the word!

Senior Events and Graduation Activities:

The Senior Panoramic Picture will be on April 24th!  The Panoramic Picture will be taken on Friday, April 24th, in Bow Gym during Study Hall - if you wish to purchase one, you will be able to order online seven days after the photo has been taken at gsp-photos.com and enter Gallery Code: HENRYGUNNPANO26.

  • Gunn Math Circle invites all students to the 5th annual Gunn Math Competition at Gunn High School on Sunday, March 29th! 

Participants of all skill levels can form teams of up to four to compete in Beginner or Advanced divisions across Individual, Guts, and Team rounds for a chance to win over $7,500 in prizes. The event will also feature a special talk by 6-time national champion math coach, Stanford PhD, and Dartmouth Visiting Assistant Professor, Dr. Simon Rubinstein-Salzedo. Clash of the Titans - This Wednesday!  The annual staff vs. student basketball game is Wednesday during an extended lunch in Titan Gym!  Come cheer on the staff and the seniors!

Art & Writing Competition - Submissions Due by 3/24:  Gunn’s first-ever seasonal-specific SEC art and writing competition is accepting submissions until March 24th! Prizes including tortilla blankets, notebooks and pencil cases, which will be given to the top three winners in writing and art. Still TIme to See Gunn Theatre's Pride and Prejudice: Please join Gunn Theatre for our spring production, a fast-paced and boisterous adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. Without a dowry or property, Mrs. Bennet must marry off her five daughters to save them from ruin. While Jane is quickly entranced by Mr. Bingley, her younger sister Elizabeth is determined not to marry—and especially not the prideful Mr. Darcy. Come watch the Bennet sisters navigate courtship, contend with societal expectations, and find love where they least expect it in this delightful Regency-era romantic comedy. Performances take place March 25-28 in Spangenberg Theater at Gunn High School. Club Activities:

Gunn Math Circle is excited to host the fifth annual Gunn Math Competition at Gunn on Sunday, March 29th!  Attracting over 250 participants across Northern California, GMC is the premier high school-run math contest on the West Coast. Gather a team of up to four and compete for prizes! The contest features three rounds: Individual, Guts, and Team. We welcome participants of all skill levels, with separate Beginner and Advanced divisions for all students.
