Toni Smith


Toni Smith has taught secondary mathematics for more than 20 years.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Master’s degree in Computers and Educational Technology from California State University, San Bernardino and her post-graduate studies from University of San Diego.  Prior to teaching mathematics at Henry M. Gunn High School, Toni taught at Rim of the World High School in Lake Arrowhead, California. Toni enjoys inspiring students and making mathematics relevant by connecting core concepts to reality.  Toni is the adviser for the Gunn Business Club, which combines both Future Business Leaders of America and DECA Clubs.  Toni serves as elected Teacher Representative for Gunn’s School Site Council and co-sponsors the Gunn ReCYCLEd Bike Program, which gives bicycles to any student in need of transportation.  Outside of School, Toni loves spending time with her husband and four children.
