received her teaching credential from San Jose State University. She is credentialed in both mathematics and business. Before teaching at Gunn, she taught at Gunderson High School in San Jose. As a Cubberley graduate, she was happy to be return to Palo Alto and the PAUSD.  In 2009, Diane received her National Board Certification in secondary mathematics. Outside of the classroom, Diane likes to backpack, ski, and horseback ride.

grew up in southern California and studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating in 2003, he got a job teaching math and fell in love with the profession. In 2006 he returned to Penn. where he earned a Master's degree in education. Danny received a Knowles Science Teaching Foundation fellowship in 2006 and an Industry Initiatives for Science and Math Education fellowship in 2010. He is a huge fan of the annual Choir/Staff musical.

John Hébert has been teaching at Gunn since 1999 in the Social Studies Department. He teaches AP Psychology, as well as Contemporary World History and U.S. Government. Prior to coming to Gunn, he received his Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Arizona and taught for a number of years at Colorado State University, as well as many years’ experience at a research institute and in consulting.
