Long-Term Resources
To offer free resources to students who need mental health support, Palo Alto Unified School District has partnered with “tbh,” an online mental health service provider.
Tbh offers a variety of resources to students, including virtual one-on-one sessions, personalized therapist-led support groups, real time messaging support and an interactive mental health resources library.
PAUSD has a contract with Care Solace which covers our entire community. Care Solace is an online resource with a live 24/7 concierge line to assist individuals in finding local mental health related programs, including counseling services. To use Care Solace, individuals answer 10 basic questions in order to receive an extensive list of referrals to applicable care providers.
Care Solace is now available for use by Palo Alto students, staff, and families at no cost. Please note, this service is an optional resource available by choice and is not mandatory in any way. Care Solace does not require a user's name, address, phone number, or date of birth. All of the information that is entered on their platform is completely confidential and stored securely.

Developed by the Stanford Center for Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing in partnership with local and state government and community groups, allcove offers a safe place where youth and young adults can find community, support, advice, and a moment of pause before turning to face the challenges of their daily lives again.
allcove's powerful approach comes directly from the people it serves: youth. Youth Advisory Groups (YAGs) design each allcove center's environments and processes, creating an atmosphere that meets each person's and each community's needs!
